SUPPLEMENTS

Prof. Guy Richards (Webinar August 2020) advocated preventive supplements as follows:

  • VIT D 50 000 IU 2 weekly or up to 10,000IU daily recommended in Donald Gordon Medical Centre protocol. Monitoring required to avoid VIT D Toxicity.
  • Zinc 20mg daily
  • VIT C 500mg three times daily (watch out for diarrhoea)
  • Nicotinic Acid (Niacin/VIT B3) 35mg daily
  • Colchicine 0.5mg twice daily (Use under supervision. Watch out for diarrhoea)

The Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) have published a supplement protocol for prevention and for the early phases of an infection based on the results of several small published clinical trials, known as the I-Mask+ Protocol. Consider these supplements from your pharmacist prior to or during the course of your recovery from COVID-19:

SUPPLEMENT DOSE
Vitamin D3 1000-3000IU per day
Vitamin C up to 1000mg twice per day
Zinc 50mg-100 per day
Melantonin up 6mg at night – causes drowsiness
Quercetin 250mg per day

IVERMECTIN

The World Health Organisation (WHO), FDA, CDC and regulatory health authorities for counties such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada and most EU member states do not advocate the use of Ivermectin in the prevention and treatment of Covid-19. Exceptions have been made for its use in clinical trials.

This practice does not advocate the use of Ivermectin in the prevention and treatment of Covid-19.
